Experiment 06: The Princess

Note1: I hope I won't regret this, it's kinda late and I wish I could retouch it more. On the other hand, my Experiments are fairly quick (about 2 hours of work).

Note2: see? This is what happens after 10 years of drawing kids and cute pets.

:O_o:..It's very distrubing....but...as I subscribe to the Frankenstein school of reproduction[it's always a monster!!:XD::lol:..I find it rather apt....the lighting is really eerie, and the way you have cut off the big, alien head is...*ooh*:O
....Fantastically well-painted...I find it creepy good fun!!;p
:whisper:..Now...aren't you glad you were born a boy?;)[:evillaugh:]

Welcome into my mind! MWAHAHA! :fella:

:D I'm a bit glad I'm a boy, yes, because there's more to love in women than men. (not meaning I'm a "latin lover", far from it, in the sense that they are considerably more sensible, and smarter than most men. heheh)
By the way, what's the Frankenstein school you mentioned?

:altermind:...it's a scary place to be!!!!..I wonder what inspired you to "give birth" to such a monstrosity??:O_o:[]
..perhaps we could drill into your head and discover what amazing creatures lurk beneath the skull?:O

...so you're NOT a "latin lover"/"Don Juan"?;)...mmhmmm?;)..I'm to take your flattering portrait of females..[truethough it possibly is...??!!]..at face value...?:P....really?;p

I'll agree there are some benefits to being a girl[:innocent:?,but...I'm all for equality, myself!:XD:

[and by "the Frankenstein school of thought"..I mean of course the famous novel;Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus"by Mary Shelley..she started writing the story at 18:It was published in 1818 and the by then 19-year-old projected all her fears of giving birth to a monster onto it[she was oddly psychic:she also dreamed her husband(poet Percy Bysshe Shelley)'s death by drowning, and seemed to prefigure her own stillborn and early mortal children?:O]
It's a fascinating psychological study:along with Stoker's"Dracula" and Le Fanu's "Carmilla" it gave birth to the gothic or speculative fiction novel we know today:XD:....and yes, literature IS one of my many passions?:) :floating:

Oh, I didn't know all that about Mary Shelley. I've read the novel when I was 20 or so, even before perhaps. I liked it. All the movies they made about it don't bring justice to what it was (not to mention the dumb-monster version of the movies).

Anyway, I don't know where this image came from really. Which is rather worrying...but I guess I like portraying women in distress, maybe because there's still not enough equality in my opinion. I'm for it as well, but too many times men feel the right to mold the world around themselves only (through social and political decisions and such). But better not get into politics now. :D
I still think women deserve more respect and comprehension(motherhood is something men will never understand, because their bodies aren't made for such a task, the duality of creation, with a clock constantly reminding you of its function and its inevitable end).

Yes,sadly Mary Shelley's philosophical & macabre work is absurdly dumbed-down in the media:/

:hmm:I guess your subconscious is a dark and strange place, then;)?Perfect for a fantasy artist I would say:XD:!!?
Maybe it's a projection of the male[& female!] aversion/fear of what pregnancy does to the body? That's how it seems to me[but obviously that's projecting my own reservations!?]

Equality is far away until females are no longer slaves to biology!.....:O...what ticking?!!;p...I have no wish to spawn,thanks!!?:lmao:[...I've SEEN Alien?:O_o:..I'll stick to my kittehs....?:kitty:]Some people shouldn't reproduce, and I'm decidedly one of them?:XD:]I agree men can't understand what women go through, but everyone has a mother...and we try and understand male foibles...?:XD:...but:hmm:I could spend ALL day on my feminist soapbox,so...?:D
